The Cosmopolitan Resort in Las Vegas has earned its title of being one of the most well-known resorts on the strip. From the extravagant decor, flashy 3-story chandelier bar and high-class ambience, one can see the reputation being set forth.

Location
Smack dab in the middle of the strip, this resort is situated in way that brings ease to exploration. The Cosmopolitan is located right between The Aria and The Bellagio, which adds to the classy ambience that is seen on this small stretch. In fact, one side of the hotel has unobstructed views of The Bellagio fountain show that happens daily so it is a great feature to take into account.
Across the way is The Paris Hotel, another well-known destination on the strip. There are numerous photo opportunities a simple walk from The Cosmo, making it very ideal for those seeking to up their social media content game.
Whether you are looking to take an uber, walk or even jump on a tram, The Cosmopolitan makes any journey pretty easy.
Guest Rooms
Beautiful and large rooms await your entrance. Each of the rooms are sectioned in a room that provides both a living room and a bedroom setting. The Terrace One Bedroom is their 'average room' which still really pulls out all the stops. The room includes a larger bathroom with full bath, separate standing shower and double vanity, a living room area with large flat screen TV, a bar area with a fridge open to use for guests personal belongings and a bedroom area with a king bed (or two queens) and another flat screen TV. One of the the key features that sets Cosmo apart from every other hotel on the strip is that every room has its own private balcony. This really gives it an edge on the rest in my opinion.
They also have suite options as well for those with a larger budget, the floor plans are very spacious with 2 bathrooms and larger square footage living quarters. As well as wrap around terrace rooms which provide absolutely breathtaking views.
Amenities
Pools
Their pool area has two options, one in each of their main towers. They are very basic pools that give off a modern feel with the style of architecture. The Chelsea pool is very basic and not super large, in the warmer months you want to get there earlier to snag a spot.
The Boulevard pool is also very basic however, it is the one that has more activities going on and an iconic view of both Bellagio and Paris in the background. They also host more out of this venue with live music/dj's, events throughout the year and 'dive-in' movie nights (open to non-hotel guests as well) Day beds and cabanas are available for purchase at both pools.
Fitness Center
The Cosmo has two gyms available to hotel guests. The hours vary per location; The Chelsea Tower is open from 6am-6pm, this is the larger of the two with more equipment options. All guests are required to sign in before entering the facility. The Boulevard Tower gym is open 24 hour which is a great perk! The machine selection is limited and definitely more cardio dominated. You get an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains while on the treadmills as well. Water and towels are provided in both locations. Lockers are provided in The Chelsea Tower gym with an option to create your own custom code.
Marquee Day and Nightclub
This famous club has gained its title of being one of the best on the strip and for good reason. Whether you are attending one of their iconic events day or night, you will find high-energy entrainment. Marquee Dayclub is 22,000 square-feet of fun with two pools, numerous bars and a gaming area. The nightclub also impressive with 40,000 sq ft. of space featuring seven different bars and three rooms-each with unique music experiences.
Restaurants
The Cosmopolitan offers a wonderful range of dining options that accommodate every type of budget and time allowance. Block 16 Urban Food Hall is a popular diverse center of food that is quick, easy and delicious! There is even a hidden speakeasy in that area.

Wicked Spoon
A great place to eat when you have an appetite! This buffet is not your average food hub, they have a great variety of traditional dishes with a tasty spin. They get pretty busy, so expect a line unless you head over pretty early. In comparison to other buffets on the strip, they provide quality for a good price. Nothing too extravagant but a great option for what you pay. Definitely worth a visit. They also take reservations

Beauty and Essex
A mysterious yet sophisticated aura is presented to you here. Walk through the back door of the pawn shop to enter into a classy restaurant. Each room is designed with unique features and the food is presented in a sharing style. Make sure you are hungry! Treat yourself to the famous wonder wheel, tasty assortment of treats presented on a small lit up ferris wheel.
Chandelier Bar
It isn't right to stay at The Cosmopolitan without having at least one drink at The Chandelier Bar. The central gem to the resort and casino (literally.) This iconic 3 tier chandelier bar takes center stage and will have you snapping pictures in no time. Classic cocktails, 3 different environments (depending on the level) and lots of photo opportunities. Ask for their secret drink, it truly tantalized the senses!
Final Notes & Tips
Red Tipping Books
Based on supply, the cashiers offer patrons elegant red tipping booklets for you to store your cash as you play games. Head to the cashier booth for this insider favorite.
Casino Drinks
The cocktail waitresses are very attentive, friendly and of all the resorts, the most consistent. If you’re playing any games, you will more than likely have a drink ready for you in minutes. They are always serving with a smile!
Security
Safety is a priority here and you can tell immediately. Security is at every entrance and they are very attentive. On the weekends and major holidays, they will even close the resort to tourist foot traffic, only allowing resort guests and reservations inside.
Slot Machines
Rumor has it that Cosmo has more winners. It may just be a wives tail but if you're gambling anyways, then it's worth a shot!
Service
The service is exceptional, the staff always going above and beyond to provide 5 star service. You truly get what you pay for here and it is evident. Every request is always answered with a smile. They also provide service via text to keep requests simple and streamlined, their virtual concierge's name is Rose and she is always ready and available.
Wifi
This was a major let down, it felt as though the phone service and the wifi were very poor throughout the entire property. Keep that in mind if you are coming here for business!
Hands down of the most well-known resorts on the strip! Their upscale and modern atmosphere can be seen from the moment you set foot inside. With these insights and tips, I hope your hotel search has become a bit easier.
